So who is this bloke with a scar above his right eye that makes him look like he's living in permanent bewilderment?

Neil Fellowes was born on Friday 13th September in the year of the monkey during the 11th hour.

According to various schools of thought this could mean he's a loving and giving, slightly unfortunate, perfectionist, who is a bit of a cheeky bugger and who'll leave it to the last minute to get himself out of trouble.

His mum says this is true! and if you listen to him speak about his life you'll hear plenty of evidence to support all of the above!

Following a 14ft, head-first fall, Neil got divorced in 1995. In 1997 he entered a relationship that became abusive, meanwhile simultaneously comfort eating his way to over 20st. He lost his confidence and sparkle, frittered away all his savings and ended up broke, not just financially and physically, but spiritually, mentally and emotionally.

In 2002 Neil began to rebuild his life and at some point in 2003, maybe July, (he's not sure when) he decided he'd do well for himself and use his experiences to show others how they can overcome their setbacks too. His philosophy is "If I can do it, anyone can."

In 2005, Neil founded CommunitySoul with his partner Jo Ball, when, in an off-the-cuff response to the negativity created by the 7/7 events, he wrote to several best-selling authors and asked them to work with him to create a weekly publication that would help people focus on getting their life better.

In 2007, Neil became aware of a growing like-minded people in business - people who wanted to see change happen in the world and who wanted to meet others with similar interests. As a result the CommunitySoul business groups were formed.

Also, in 2008 Neil brought top speakers to CommunitySoul for the series an afternoon with... as well as re- branding his flagship life coaching programme - life made easy

Neil delivers public talks and workshops on lifestyle management and business growth - if you ask him nicely:

‘Neil Fellowes speaks powerfully and from the heart ..."
Trevor Morkham, Family Mediation (N. Wiltshire)
'I came to the talk because I felt that my life had begun to resemble a disaster movie and my response to it was passive... I was able to relate strongly to many of the themes aired during the talk and it gave me the motivation to start to change my way of thinking.'
Eve mason, Lecturer in Sociology
